Now that the AirPods is also on its way for launching this October, some are also expecting its technology will be maximized by in the 2017 iPhone. In a report discussed by BGR, rumors are rife that the iPhone 8 will finally be applied with the AMOLED technology. With the current iPhone, it already has a screen brightness around 625 nits on an LCD and the 10th anniversary iPhone is expected to receive more if the OLED technology is applied.

Aside from its upgraded screen resolution, a new material will be used for the iPhone 8, the report added. Since Aluminum cannot be improved further, there are speculations that the next iPhone will be utilizing ceramics for its body since it is already making a watch made from the said material.

An answer by Brian Roemmele provided a detailed specification of what the iPhone is going to be made of. Roemmele stated that the next iPhone will be made from Zirconian ceramics "structured in a martensite-type" which allows it to tolerate high amounts of stress relative to other materials. The material is also said to have the highest mechanical strength and toughness at room temperature.

Many were disappointed when the iPhone 7 did not include a wireless charging feature. The removal of its headphone jack were deemed negatively by some, pointing out that users cannot listen to music and make a call while charging because of its end's conversion to a lightning connector.

But the move from the Cupertino-based company may be hinting that its already heading towards a wireless future, thus making others think it is a step to finally eliminating cables in the future even on its charging system.
