Update:

The episode titled "Member Berries" starts off with the focus on the national anthem and if the girl's volleyball team would take a seat while the anthem is played.

An online troll named "skankhunt42" is harassing the girls and they are protesting.

The government decides to have a new national anthem which will be composed by J.J. Abrams. Randy Marsh is not happy about the rebooting of the national anthem.

Later, in "South Park" Season 20, episode 1, a pollster arrives at Marsh residence to find out about the forthcoming elections.

Mr. Garrison and Caitlyn Jenner are leading the polls and it is possible that they would win the elections. However, Mr. Garrison has no idea what he will do if he is selected to be in the office.

Garrison comes up with a plan that they can sit down during the national anthem and sabotage the campaign. However, now it is allowed to sit or stand during the national anthem.

Elsewhere, at South Park Elementary, a different kind of political drama is unfolding, the girl's basketball team is convinced that Eric Cartman is the troll.

However, Cartman denies the allegations against him and goes on to praise the "Ghostbusters" reboot.

"South Park" Season 20, episode 1 is more like a platform for the rest of the episodes in the season. Kyle announces that he will expose the anonymous troll.

Meanwhile, in other "South Park" news, creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker talked to The Hollywood Reporter about 20 years of "South Park," the music by Primus and more.

"I remember we were in the room [for the 19th season], and the big news was Caitlyn Jenner. And I was like: "Things have changed, dude. I don't think we can do a Caitlyn Jenner show. I think we would get run out of town." [They did anyway, portraying Jenner as the vice presidential running mate to Mr. Garrison, who wants to build a wall on the U.S.-Canada border.] We try to come in every season with a new attitude, like this is what makes this season different than last season. But at the end of the day our favorite shows are when Cartman is f-ing around with Butters," Parker said about coming with a new attitude in every season and making it different.
