Things are getting more and more exciting in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. New teaser materials reveal that the season opener will be filled with a lot of happy moments, but not without some family drama.

CBS recently revealed a first look at "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, showing a somewhat happy family portrait featuring Penny's family. The photo is taken during Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) renewal of vows. In attendance, however, is Penny's mother Susan (Katey Sagal) and drug-dealing brother Randall (Jack McBrayer), E! News reported.

Much of the drama is delivered by Penny's family. In an interview with EW, executive producer Steve Molaro revealed that while Penny is close with her dad, the same couldn't be said about her relationship with her brother and mother.

"As we know, her brother Randall has been a bit of trouble over the years, selling drugs and being in and out of jail, and that's put a lot of stress on her mom," Molaro said. Tension will rise between Penny's mother and brother, and Penny and her dad will be caught in the middle of it.

Molaro previously revealed that the wedding ceremony will be an intimate affair attended by family and friends. The set up takes place "outdoors at an arboretum in Pasadena." Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will officiate the wedding.

Season 10's landmark episode will have a 22-minute run time, and Molaro promises that everyone will have their moment to shine in that episode. Aside from the original "The Big Bang Theory" cast members and the Hofstadter family, also joining the episode is "Breaking Bad" alum Dean Norris, who plays the Air Force representative who wants to talk to Leonard and Sheldon about acquiring their quantum gyroscope invention.

"Now that they are officially members of the 'Big Bang' family, we would love to have them come back so we can service them with more time and energy than we could in the premiere," Molaro told TVLine.

Meanwhile, there will be no time jump between Season 9 and Season 10. The new season will immediately pick up from where the previous one left off.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 premieres on Sept. 19.
