On Sept. 14, Wednesday, the first official trailer of the upcoming "Master" film began streaming online, Han Cinema reported. The 52-second trailer offers a lens into the chaotic world of a crime syndicate and a criminal investigation team that is chasing them down.

The "Uncontrollably Fond" actor will play Park Jang Goon, the Section Chief of One Network. He is the brain behind President Jin (Lee), who is the extortionist of the fraud case of One Network.

Kim's character is said to be President Jin's faithful right-hand man, but later conflicted between the extortionist and Kim Jae-Myung (Kang), the head of the Criminal Investigation team, Drama Beans reported. It is said that Park Jang Goon will become the linchpin in the cops-versus-robbers chase.

Aside from the aforementioned characters, Uhm Ji-Won has also been cast to play Shin Gemma, a lieutenant in the police investigation team. Oh Dal-Soo and Jin Kyung were confirmed to play Hwang Myung-Joon and Kim Eom-Ma, respectively.

Details about the upcoming crime thriller film has been kept secret. What is known about the project is that "The Heirs" actor will reportedly shoot several pivotal scenes in different locations in the Philippines, including Intramuros, Binondo, Bulacan, and Cebu, for around two-month.

It came after a series of fan-taken photos of Kim walking around the metro have been circulating on the web. In early June, various fan groups of Kim have shared photos and videos of him spotted in Greenbelt, Makati. Lucky fans who were close-by flocked to the area to snap photos of the Hallyu star and posted them on Facebook.

"Master" is slated to hit the movie theaters sometime in December. Check out the trailer below:
