There are still fans who are hoping that Danielle Cormack in "Wentworth" Season 5 despite the death of her character Bea Smith. If she does, for whatever reason, it will be interesting to have her character pursue her lesbian relationship with Allie Novak (Kate Jenkinson).

Allie was introduced as a new inmate in "Wentworth" Season 4 episode 1 titled "First Blood," which aired on May 10. She is a prostitute and friend of Kaz Proctor (Tammy Macintosh), the women used by Bea as an informant in the past.

In "First Blood," Kaz and her crew called the Red Right Hand were imprisoned. Also, Joan Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) stepped back into Wentworth prison as a prisoner.

Viewers who supported the lesbian relationship between Cormack and Macintosh's characters called the couple Ballie. In a recent interview with Curve magazine, Cormack talked about the chemistry between the two characters.

"Yes, I definitely feel the love for the Ballie thing," Cormack told the magazine. "I shouldn't say the Ballie thing. It sounds so reductive, but about Bea and Allie."

Previously, Cormack was quoted as saying she was interested in exploring Bea's sexuality. However, she clarified that what she was interested in exploring was her "Wentworth" character's sensuality, which she said was a very different thing because it was not about knowing whether or not the character was gay.

For Cormack, it was more about Bea letting somebody into her heart, which she had not done for a very long time. The character was confronted with somebody who was not only offering that but also was clearly interested in her, the actress added.

Allie's agenda was really to connect with Bea, Cormack explained. The actress assured fans that Allie was not trying to manipulate and take advantage of Bea about being top dog.

It is unlikely for Cormack to join "Wentworth" Season 5 as she is set to star in the new series "Deep Water." Among her co-stars is "Game of Thrones" alum Noah Taylor, who was spotted at Early Mercy in Toronto, Canada, on Sept. 8 for the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, Just Jared reported.
