Shingeki no Kyojin has reached incredible popularity in the anime community ever since its debut in 2013. Based on Hajime Isayama's dystopian manga series, the SNK franchise has already spawned an anime series, four Original Animation DVDs, two-live action films, five manga spin-offs and nine video games.

Tokyo MX will be covering the 25 episodes in Shingeki no Kyojin season 1 and the four OAD episodes "Ilse's Notebook: Memoirs of a Recon Corps Member," "The Sudden Visitor: The Torturous Curse of Youth," "Distress" and "No Regrets."

Latest Info on Attack on Titan Season 2

The purpose of the re-run is to build more hype before season 2 kicks off early April. Shingeki no Kyojin season 2 will most likely cover the Clash of the Titans arc up to the final chapter of the Uprising arc (chapter 70 in the manga), so it's safe to say that the epic battle between captain Levi Ackerman and the Beast Titan won't happen in this season.

While it's a bit of a downer to learn that tad of information, there's absolutely no reason to be disappointed because the upcoming season is loaded with action, drama and big revelations.

There's still the scintillating grappling showdown between the Rogue Titan and Armored titan, the escape from Castle Utgard, the revelation of the true ruler of the wall and the Survey Corps takeover from the corrupt Military Police headed by Kenny Ackerman and Rod Reiss.

As for the manga series, Levi, Hanjie, Eren and Mikasa have finally reached the basement and recovered the first piece of evidence that humans still exist outside the wall. According to Isayama, his manga series will soon come to an end, so expect more secrets to be revealed in the upcoming chapters.
