The Ten Commandments are now on the brink of getting annihilated as Fraudrin is cornered by Hendrickson and Zaratras. Also, fans are mystified who Merlin's mother is.
In the previous chapter of "Seven Deadly Sins," Merlin was able to seal off Grayroad and is ecstatic to conduct her experiment on the demon. While the mage and the Holy Knights were busy discussing what they should do with the unconscious humans, Fraudrin made his escape and as the other Holy Knights tried to catch him, they were blocked by the debris. Luckily, Hendrickson was fast enough to catch up and the two engaged in battle.
The difference in strength was far too wide as Fraudrin is possessed by a Commandment while all of Hendrickson's demon powers were stripped. The latter tried to use purge but the demon inside the former was unaffected. As Fraudrin was about to kill Hendrickson, Zaratras arrived in the nick of time and the battle became two against one.
Hendrickson was stunned to see the former captain of the Holy Knights alive as he was sure that they killed him. He apologized for the grave sin he committed and Gilthunder's father told him to concentrate on retrieving their friend's body instead. He also tried to use purge but it was also ineffective. With no other choice, Zaratras said that he has one last trick up his sleeve that may do the trick.
Fans over at Manga Sail suggest that Zaratras' plan will involve him sacrificing his soul for the sake of his former comrade. Meanwhile, another hot topic that fans are discussing is the identity of Merlin's mother, Belialin. Some speculate that she was responsible in sealing the Ten Commandments and she came from a clan that is yet to be revealed.
Some also believe that Merlin's power, Infinity was granted by her mother as she wants her daughter to live and continue the fight against the Commandments, as it was indicated in the previous chapter that Merlin was the sole survivor of their race. Hence, her grudge for the Commandments run deep and it was also her motive in co-founding the Seven Deadly Sins. For fans who have yet to read the chapter, it is now available in Manga Mint.
