Apple's news iOS 10 update contains many changes compared to the features of its predecessor. However, some are just too hidden for the regular user to discover directly. Here are a few changes that iOS 10 users should note about Apple's new operating system:

The first one is Apps in messages. If one has downloaded iOS 10 already, they will notice that the messages have a different look. However, they are more than skin-deep as now there is an App Store for messages located to the left of the text bar. Such apps help an iOS user to look up movie times as well as buy tickets on Fandango, or even book reservations on OpenTable.

Secondly, iOS 10 has integrated new tricks on Siri. The feature is now smarter than ever although the majority of iOS users may not ask her to display the new capabilities. Apparently, Siri now works with more apps than before, meaning that one can use Venmo to some money to their friends or, better, use Whatsapp to send them a message.

According to Chicago Tribune, it is even possible to ask Siri to carry out sophisticated searches on one's iPhone. For example, it can find emails from a specific person and photos that feature individual objects and people.

With smarter searches, an iOS 10 user will now use Apple's Object recognition technology to enhance the search for any image they want. All they have to do is ask Siri to find the specific pictures. Otherwise, they can manually type the searches.

With iOS 10, it also easier to find people in photos. In the photo app, a user has a section of an app dubbed People. This sub-section uses Apple's facial recognition to group pictures of the same people together. And even better, by tapping "Select" on the screen, they can identify the individuals in the photos or combine the identifications.

Not only that, iOS 10 includes photo markups, where a user can draw or type on any picture they take. With this, an iPhone's albums will look more like snap chat. Although the feature is a little hidden, users can locate it by opening a picture and finding a three-slider icon, which opens up editing options.

According to Popular Science, iOS 10 is not limited to that. It also features email filtering, RAW photo editing, 3D Touch, and such things as prioritizing one's downloads and closing all the tabs.

All the same, iOS 10 looks no more different than its predecessor. To discover more hidden functionalities and guides of properly utilizing iOS 10 features, watch the video below:
