"Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 23 premiered last week wherein the 13 contestants showcased their first dances. However, the first week did not see any elimination. This means all the contestants will return for Week Two airing Sept. 19. Meanwhile, winner predictions and speculations about who will win the most coveted mirrorball trophy are running rampant. Betting odds are pegging Laurie Hernandez, the Olympic gymnast, will emerge as the ultimate winner of this season.

In the previous week, "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 23 introduced 13 new contestants including Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Kenny Edmonds and Allison Holker, Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold, Jake T. Austin and Jenna Johnson, James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko, Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Marily Henner and Derek Hough, Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, Rick Perry and Emma Slater, Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke, Terra Jole and Sasha Faber, and Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson.

Among 13 couples, Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy and James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess earned highest scores (31). Rick Perry and Emma Slater were given the lowest scores (20). However, there were no eliminations.

In the meantime, Gold Derby us reporting that Laurie Hernandez remains the frontrunner to win the finale. According to the winning odds, Hernandez has 1/3 chances to win "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 23. She is trailed by Marilu Henner with 9/1 odds in favour to become the next winner. In third place, standing strong is Jana Kramer with 20/1 odds. As for the Week 1 highest scorer James Hinchcliffe, he has 28/1 odds in favour to win it all.

Calvin Johnson and Jake T. Austin have 40/1 odds in favour. The remaining participants, Ryan Lochte, Amber Rose, Babyface, Vanilla Ice, Maureen McCormick, Terra Jole and Rick Perry have least to no chances of winning "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 23. They are not expected to go too far with 100/1 odds in favour.

In addition, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show host predicts Laurie Hernandez will become the winner of "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 23 (2016), according to Fansided. Kimmel is betting $1000 of his own money. It is said that Jimmy Kimmel's has been right about the winner eight out of 17 times.
