John Stamos in Nude Shower Scene with Chad Radwell for ‘Scream Queens 2’

Actor John Stamos, who has been doing grandfather roles lately in the Fox sitcom “Grandfathered,” is doing a nude shower scene for the first time in his career as he joins the cast of “Scream Queens” season 2. The 53-year-old actor, who plays Dr. Brock Holt, has the shower scene with Chad Radwell, a regular of the show who plays Glen Powell.

Describing the role of Holt in Ryan Murphy’s horror/comedy series as the darkest yet in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Stamos says, “There was originally this locker scene where I come in and change my sponge … I have never done this kind of thing. I feel like Farrah Fawcett or Raquel Welch when they posed nude in Playboy,” quoted Out.

He added, “I fought it at first, I said, ‘oh fine, what do I have to lose?’” However, Stamos may have forgotten he has posed butt naked for Paper Magazine in December 2015. It is the same publication where Kim Kardashian’s oiled backside cover photo almost broke the internet in November 2014.

Season 2 of “Scream Queens,” which stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kirstie Alley, Emma Roberts and Taylor Lautner, premiered on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox. For season 2, there is a three-year time jump from season 1, the setting is moved from the sorority house to a hospital and three new cast members join the series as doctors, including Stamos.

The changes aims to widen the audience for season 2 by casting more age groups while keeping most of the season 1 survivors of the Kappa Sorority House who graduated and moved to a medical center.

Co-creator Ian Brennan said season 2 would be bloodier and funnier than season 1. “I think we’re leaning into the creepiness a little more and a little but more into the comedy as well,” The Hollywood Reported quoted Brennan
