Manchester United expectedly began their season with a three-game winning streak, but what was not anticipated is the two-game losing skid that they are having right now.

The slide began when they lost the season's first Manchester derby to cross-city rivals City, 1-2, on Sep. 10 also at the Old Trafford. They next lost to lowly team Watford, 1-3, last Sunday at the Vicarage Road as the team experienced their first back-to-back defeat under new head coach Jose Mourinho's tenure, as per The Guardian.

Watford started the scoring with the lone goal in the first half courtesy of a strike from midfielder Etienne Capoue off a cut back by defender Daryl Janmaat following a tackle to Anthony Martial.

United was able to equalize in the second half with a close range shot from teenage striker Marcus Rashford from a Zlatan Ibrahimović cross.

However, two goals late in the game, from Juan Zuniga and Troy Deeney respectively, gave the Hornets their first win over the Red Devils in 30 years.

Meanwhile, Leicester City crushed newly-promoted side Burnley, 3-0, in their game at the King Power Stadium last Saturday, BBC Sport reported.

A brace from newly-acquired striker Islam Slimani in the first half injury time and at the 48th minute gave the champs a 2-0 advantage. An own goal from Burnley defender Ben Mee at the 78th completed the three-goal haul of head coach Claudio Ranieri's side.

It was the second win in three games for the Foxes after starting the season on a two-game winless spell.

A hard-fought game is expected between United and Leicester, but Ranieri's squad is a slight favorite to win over the listless Red Devils.
