There are many theories surrounding Zamasu and the allegedly looming death of his master, Gowasu. Many aficionados speculate that Zamasu is not Black Goku. Previous reports suggested that Zamasu and Black Goku are the same entities, but may not turn out to be true when "Dragon Ball Super" episode 59 finally airs on Sept. 25.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 58 saw Vegeta, Goku, and Future Trunks return to the present. Bulma gave them senzu beans to help them recover. Goku wanted to bring more of the beans with them to fight Black Goku and Zamasu one more time, but this upset Bulma.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 58, Whis, Beerus, and Kaio visited Future Trunks, Goku, and Vegeta to discuss about Zamasu. The visit led to the crew believing that Gowasu's life may be in danger. Zamasu will seemingly steal the Time Rings and destroy Gowasu.

The villain could have made a wish using Super Dragon Balls, while chanting words from Zuno. First, he wished for a clone of Son Goku, wherein he waited for another year before making a second wish. However, to quicken things, Zamasu stole the Time Ring from Universe 10.

Since a Time Ring can only be used by a kaio and teh present Zamasu is being trained to take over from Gowasu at the 10th Universe's kaio, it is worthwhile to worry about the current kaio. It is difficult to acquire the Time Ring unless Gowasu is absent. There is likelihood that Zamasu killed Gowasu and managed to steal two rings - one for himself and the other for Black Goku - before leaving to destroy the Earth in future.

However, Goku's group cannot do anything just yet unless the present zamasu does something out of teh ordinary that eventually puts Gowasu's life in danger. The preview for episode 59 shows Goku and the three kaio following Zamasu's moves keenly after Beerus asked Goku not to reveal anything about the future Zamasu's destructive escapades.

Since this information is yet to be confirmed, fans should take it with a grain of salt. Fans should look forward for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60, which is scheduled to air on Oct. 2, to discover that Zamasu indeed killed Gowasu. Watch the sneak peek below for more information on episode 59.
