Vernee is a relatively new brand from China. However, its newest flagship, Vernee Mars is packed with topnotch specs. The smartphone was launched on Sept. 20 and it is now available with a pricing of $229 during its presale period.
Vernee Mars Specifications, Features
According to Vernee, Mars sports a metal rear cover that has been built in the same anodizing process of iPhone 7. It measures 151 x 73 x 7.6 mm and it weighs 161 grams. It comes in two color choices like gold and gray.
Vernee Mars comes with a 5.5-inch full HD screen that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is flanked with 2.5D curved screen that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 80 percent, Android Headlines reported.
It is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) chipset that includes a 64-bit octa-core processor that delivers a clocking speed of 2.0 GHz along with 4 GB of RAM.
The internal storage of the device is 32 GB. The external storage of the device supports up to 128 GB of microSD card. The smartphone comes preloaded with stock version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera that features a Sony IMX258 sensor. It supports full HD recording at 30 fps. Its front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel.
The other features of Vernee Mars include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, GPS, USB Type-C port, USB OTG and a fingerprint reader on the right edge of the device. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. The quick charge support on the device allows the battery to charge half of its capacity in just 30 minutes.
Vernee Mars Price, Preorders
The Vernee Mars is priced at $249 on its official website. However, during the presale offer that is going to expire on Oct. 7, it is available for $229, Phone Radar reported. From Oct. 8, it will continue to sell at $249.
Vernee is working on a higher-end version of Mars. It will launch as Vernee Mars Pro in December this year with a pricing of $349. It would be powered by Helio P20 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.
