After the release of the much-hyped iOS 10, the new Apple's operating system was not as perfect as expected. It contained bugs, which affected the functionality of Lightning Earpods, app extensions, as well as photos.

Luckily, for new iOS 10 platform users, Apple just released iOS 10.0.2, a minor update intended to squash the bugs. One of the most obvious issues was the inability of headphone audio controls to work in some cases, according to Ars Technica.

Apparently, the lightning headphones proved to be an annoyance for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus first users. The concern caused the attached multifunction remote control to cease functioning intermittently. Besides fixing such errors, iOS 10.0.2 also improves the stability of iPhones and iPads.

According to Apple, the full list of the fixed problems contains three main issues. They are namely, a problem that prevented headphone audio controls from momentarily working, the issue that caused photos to crash, for some users, when connecting to iCloud Photo Library, and the one that prevented users to enable selected app extensions.

The release of iOS 10.0.2 follows earlier reports that Apple was working on the cited bugs. According to Apple Insider, no matter how bothersome they proved to be, all the identified bugs did not stop iOS 10 users from enjoying the "iOS 10 show."

iOS 10 was launched to the public last week as iOS 10.0.1. The fresh OS includes such enhancements as a revamped Messages app with a full App Store, a redesigned Lock screen experience, a Siri SDK for developers, new features for maps and Apple Music, among others.

With iOS 10, users can now enjoy more power, dynamism, multilingual typing, and rich notifications. Apple has, as of now, already proceeded to test another iOS 10.0.1 update, which is expected to bring a new bokeh "portrait" mode to the iPhone 7 Plus dual cameras.

iOS 10.0.2 is available for all devices that support iOS 10. This includes the fourth-generation iPad and newer, iPhone 5 and newer, both iPad pros, the iPad Mini 2 and newer, and the sixth-generation iPod Touch.
