Erstwhile unbeaten squad Everton FC (4-1-1, 13 points) will look to redeem themselves from their loss in the previous round as they meet streaking team Crystal Palace FC (3-2-1, 10 points) in a 2016-2017 Premier League season game at the Goodison Park on Friday, Sep. 30.

Everton began the season on a five-game unbeaten run to be among the top three teams during the first few weeks of English top flight competitions.
However, they suffered their first loss last Saturday as the team was nipped by struggling team AFC Bournemouth, 0-1, on the road at the Vitality Stadium, as per the Independent.
The Cherries' English midfielder Junior Stanislas provided the lone goal of the match for the hosts at the 23rd minute to hand head coach Ronald Koeman's side their only defeat this term so far.
The Toffees has settled for the fifth spot in the current league table as they are tied on points with Arsenal and Liverpool but has a lesser goal differential than the said two powerhouse teams.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace won their third straight game as they nipped lowly club Sunderland in a high-scoring 3-2 affair at the Stadium of Light also last Saturday, Chronicle Live reported.
The Black Cats actually scored the first two goals of the match, courtesy of a brace from forward Jermain Defoe at the 39th and 60th minutes. However, head coach Alan Pardew's squad netted the next three goals in the final half hour of play to pull off the come-from-behind victory.
Welsh midfielder Joe Ledley cut the deficit to 1-2 with a goal at the 61st minute before fellow midfielder James McArthur found the equalizer at the 76th.
Former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke hit the winning goal during stoppage time to give the win and three points to the Eagles.
The win was also Crystal Palace's fourth consecutive unbeaten performance as they climbed to the seventh spot in the overall standings afterward.
