Erstwhile unbeaten squad Everton FC (4-1-1, 13 points) will look to redeem themselves from their loss in the previous round as they meet streaking team Crystal Palace FC (3-2-1, 10 points) in a 2016-2017 Premier League season game at the Goodison Park on Friday, Sep. 30.

Everton began the season on a five-game unbeaten run to be among the top three teams during the first few weeks of English top flight competitions.

However, they suffered their first loss last Saturday as the team was nipped by struggling team AFC Bournemouth, 0-1, on the road at the Vitality Stadium, as per the Independent.

The Cherries' English midfielder Junior Stanislas provided the lone goal of the match for the hosts at the 23rd minute to hand head coach Ronald Koeman's side their only defeat this term so far.

Former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke hit the winning goal during stoppage time to give the win and three points to the Eagles.

The win was also Crystal Palace's fourth consecutive unbeaten performance as they climbed to the seventh spot in the overall standings afterward.
