With Nintendo's NX anticipated release, a rumored release date surfaced on Europe's amiibo websites, which may indicate when Nintendo NX and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are coming out.

According to GamesRadar, Nintendo UK and Nintendo France's amiibo sites both cited a "04/03/2017" release date for the three planned Breath of the Wild amiibo. And per tradition, Amiibo generally come out on or after the release date of their associated game, which puts Breath of the Wild's release date on or before March 4, 2017 as well.

Although reports speculate that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will come out for the Nintendo NX simultaneously, the official release remains unclear, so fans should take this news with a grain of salt.

In the past, Nintendo Company has pushed back the mass production of the console to early 2017, instead of the previously reported mid-2016 target, because the company wanted to enhance the feature line up by adding VR capabilities, which could "gain advantages in the upcoming video game and mobile game competitons," Digitimes has learned.

As for its features, Nintendo NX may feature the Tegra X2 processor, which is comparatively the same four Cortex A57 cores as its predecessor, but with the addition of two Denver2 cores that apparently support the high-end Pascal architecture.

In addition, the highly-acclaimed console was tagged as a hybrid design, wherein players can dock the device at home and conveniently play it as a regular console. It may also feature detachable controllers and will debut the first split D-pad and a Share button, similar to the Sony PlayStation 4. It also feature the return of cartridges, together with digital downloads.

Nintendo described the NX as a "brand new concept" which could mean anything, given Nintendo's track record. Nintendo's president, Tatsumi Kimishima, has emphasized the idea that this will be a brand-new concept and not a successor to the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS.

"The NX is neither the successor to the Wii U nor to the 3DS. It's a new way of playing games, which I think will have a larger impact than the Wii U, but I don't feel it's a pure replacement for the Wii U," Kimishima stated in an interview.
