There is increased interest among users about the specifications and performance of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Latest leaks indicate that the graphics card has the same performance as GTX 960.

The leaked information in the form of GPUz reveals that GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti are the first cards based on the latest Pascal GP107 GPU, according to Chiphell. The GTX 1050 Ti is replacing both the GTX 750 Ti and GTX 950.

According to the leaker, fans can expect the GTX 1050 Ti in Mid-October. The upcoming card sports a fully enabled GP 107 die and 4 GB of GDDR5 ram, with a price tag of approximately $149.

Nvidia has maintained the architectural hierarchy of Pascal similar to Maxwell. Therefore, users should look forward to a similar core configuration, although with added improvements for maximum performance and efficiency.

The GTX 1050 Ti will feature 768 CUDA cores, which means that users can expect 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs, according to WCCF Tech. With regard to the clock speeds, the card comes with 1318 MHz core and 1380 MHz boost clock, which is about 250 MHz over the GM107 GPU.

The improved clock speed increases the texture fill rate of the card up to 84 GTexel/s. The card's 4 GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 7GHz offers 112 GB/s bandwidth along the narrow 128-bit bus interface.

The device ID for the chip is 1C82 and has the A1 revision. With the leaker using a card that was made by Nvidia AIB, Colorful, users can expect this variant to be custom cooled but remains dedicated to the reference clock speeds.

When it comes to the performance of the GTX 1050 Ti, it was tested in 3DMark 11. While this is a synthetic benchmark, it gives a good comparison versus its Maxwell based predecessors. The card scores 10,054 points in the performance preset and 3,867 points in the extreme preset.

On the contrary, the GTX 950 scores about 2800 points while the GTX 960 scores around 3300 points in 3DMark 11 extreme presets. With regard to the performance preset, the GTX 950 scores 9000 points whereas the GTX 960 scores 10,000 points.

According to the leaked performance and pricing numbers, the GTX 1050 Ti is a very competitive solution at $149. The card has the potential to attract many gamers.

A major selling point is its 75W TDP requirement, which means that most of the cards will run without extra connectors for power. This makes the GTX 1050 Ti a great option for budget builds. Here is footage for more information:
