There was no September Update for "Clash of Clans" after all as new reports indicate that CoC developer Supercell intends to deploy the fresh feature upgrades and other gameplay changes in the second week of October, specifically on the 11th. But before the jump, gamers will get a taste of the Sneak Peeks between October 4 and 5.

To be clear, the CoC update touching down on October 11 is yet to be written in stone as Supercell only confirmed of the Sneak Peeks happening next week. According to All Clash, Anoushka of Supercell posted in the CoC official forum that the promised update previews will be provided at the start of October. The declaration essentially debunked the rumors of a September Update.

"Neither I nor Marika stated that the update would go live in September for sure," Anoushka clarified. The Supercell staff then added: "It may as well happen in October. Hang in there. We are working on it."

And going by the previous update cycle used by the CoC maker, it would be safe to assume that the actual update will go live no later than October 11, All Clash said on its report. But since Anoushka has hinted that work on the project remains in progress, it is not unlikely that delays could happen though Clashers are hoping that wait will not extend to November 2016.

As speculations are rife on the new things to expect, the CoC community is expecting the arrival of a new Town Hall level or TH 12. The upgrade was rumored for unveiling via the 2016 ClashCon but the event was cancelled, sparking questions if Supercell will still go ahead with the bump.

In a report, iTechPost.com is not too optimistic on the possibility of TH 12 making a debut through the upcoming CoC update. It is more likely that the next level will be delivered in the next big update, possibly at the start of 2017.

Rumors also suggest that free Mine Gems will be part of the CoC update package but the more believable element is that of the Clan Challenge. The feature has already been discussed by Supercell so it's only a matter of time for its actual revelation.

Again, iTech Post is convinced that Clan Challenge, like TH 12, will not be part of the Clash of Clans supposed October 11 Update. To be realistic, these major feature upgrades that will redefine the CoC gameplay should be expected within the next 12 months, the report said.
