"Shameless" is known to showcase polyamory and in the upcoming season, Kevin, Svetlana and Veronica would take it forward and evolve into a happy family. "Shameless" Season 7, episode 1 will see Frank waking up after the coma to find no one has missed him.

Shanola Hampton, who portrays Veronica, talks to The Hollywood Reporter. She says that the show will explore polyamory in a way that has not been shown on TV before.
She adds that her character fell in love with Svetlana and Kevin has accepted the relationship. This is Veronica's "new life and new family."
Isidora Goreshter adds that the relationship has evolved slowly in Season 6 of "Shameless."
Meanwhile, executive producer Nancy Pimental praises the chemistry of the actors for the successful implementation of thrupple.
Pimental mentions that they did not plan to have this but when Kev and Vee had parted ways and Svetlana needed a place to stay and it all started.
"For her and her culture, she gave payment by sweeping the floor, paying the rent and going down on Kev or Vee. It started as showing a different take on a different culture and a different point of view of sex," Primental says.
During the interview, the executive producer mentions that Svetlana's definition of love is different from others.
"We play with all of that, because it's hard enough with two people in a relationship to define and establish what you have going on. Then you add a third person - and a third person who has a different cultural upbringing - and it definitely shakes up the lines of the triangle."
"Shameless" Season 7, episode 1 spoilers
Episode 1 of "Shameless" Season 7 kick starts with Frank waking up after a month-long coma. He learns that no one missed him. Elsewhere, Debbie decides to go the criminal way to see Franny grows up rich.
Meanwhile, Lip is able to complete rehab successfully. Carl considers surgery after he finds out he is the only uncircumcised brother. Elsewhere, Ian has a bad feeling about Denise (Caleb's buddy).
