Middling team Paraguay (3-2-3, 12 points) will try to bounce back from their poor showing in the recent matchday as they square off with fourth-running squad Colombia (4-3-1, 13 points) in a 2018 FIFA World Cup CONMEBOL qualifiers match at the Estadio Defensores del Chaco in Asunción this Thursday, Oct. 6.

Paraguay is currently at the sixth spot of the 10-team CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying table after eight rounds of competitions.

Brazilian captain Neymar assisted to defender Joao Miranda to break the deadlock right at the second minute of the match, but an own goal from PSG center back Marquinhos leveled the count at the 36th.
The Seleção found the game-winner at the 74th, though, this time with Neymar slotting the goal off an assist from Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
