In the current hit Korean fantasy drama “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” actress Kim Yoo Jung plays the role of Hong Ra-On who disguises as a man and counsels men on dating. What if it were the other way around and lead actor Park Bo Gum, who plays Crown Prince Hyomyeong, were to disguise himself as a woman?
Allkpop reported that “Entertainment Relay” on its Oct. 1 episode, disclosed the results of a poll after it asked viewers to vote who they think are the best three male stars who look prettier than women. The winners were Park Bo Gum, 3rd place; Dongjun, 2nd place; and Taenim, 1st place.
Park Bo Gum, who in mid-September topped another survey of Hallyu stars that students want to spend with during the Chuseok holiday, came in third because of his cute looks and complete adjustment to women’s clothing. The transformation of ZE:A’s Dongjun from a masculine look to a demure woman and resemblance to actress Han Ga In landed him in second place.
Topping the list is SHINee’s Taemin who the entertainment website said does not need to dress in female apparel to look beautiful.
Notwithstanding the gender switches, even if only in their fantasy drama or for another TV show, Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung – like “Descendants of the Sun” actors Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo – are hounded by dating reports, reported Bitbag. The speculations is the result of the actress admitting she and Park B Gum dated.
The two are so comfortable with one another due to their constantly hanging out on the set. But what could be mistaken as the actor’s nurturing tendencies may be just an expression of a genuine friendship.
Park Bo Gum, besides being prettier than a woman, is the bromance partner of Song Joong-ki in the latest TV and print commercial of Domino’s Pizza.
