"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 cast member Jessica Capshaw recently shared some details on what's in store for her character Arizona.

In an interview with TV Line, the actress confirmed that Arizona will be getting a new love interest in the upcoming episodes. She added that the character will be a new guest star in the hit ABC series and not someone that's already been introduced in the show.

"My sources are telling me that it's not going to be too far away. We had to wade through a little muck first. But I do feel that Arizona has certainly waited long enough. I think it's got to be a new person, right? What am I going to do, start making out with Ellen?" she joked.

Meanwhile, Capshaw wasn't in the first two episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13. The actress just gave birth to her daughter and had to spend time with her at the time of the filming. Despite her absence, Arizona's return to episode 3 will certainly make a mark on the viewers.

Arizona will share her thoughts on Alex (Justin Chambers) and Andrew's (Giacomo Gianniotti) encounter and by the looks of it, she will be siding with the latter.

"We find out in the episode that she heard what happened while in NY, but she has no idea just how bad it is until she returns to work. And, when she sees just how bad it is, it really fires her up. And it worries her. Because anyone who can do something like that needs some help. Needs some assistance," she said.

In other news, Arizona and Callie's (Sara Ramirez) relationship recently ended with the latter deciding to leave Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. According to Capshaw, she's not certain is a proper closure for both Arizona and Callie is still necessary. However, it seems that there's hope for such a storyline because Callie didn't die; she's just in the Big Apple.

"I don't know. It was left open-ended. In the Shondaland world, there is still a character named Callie who lives in New York City. But I don't know what the closure is yet," she said.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13, episode 3 will air on ABC on Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET.
