The counterattack is in full effect as Meliodas took down another member of the Ten Commandments, Fraudrin. In the next chapter, the mystery behind the Seven Deadly Sins captain's Sacred Treasure will be revealed.
In the previous chapter of "Nanatsu no Taizai," Dreyfus was finally able to broke free from the demon, Fraudrin thanks to his elder brother, Zaratras. However, this resulted to the death of the former captain of the Holy Knights. Dreyfus and Hendrickson promised that they will take care of his son, Gilthunder. Just when they thought the fight is over, Fraudrin emerged from the smoke and turns out, Drayfus' attack barely damaged him.
Merlin arrived in time to shield Hendrickson, while Dreyfus and his son were left outside open to Fraudrin's attacks. Fortunately, Meliodas arrived in the nick of time to save both and it was his turn to finish Fraudrin off. They were toe-to-toe against each other but to his surprise, another Meliodas emerged. It was revealed that his Sacred Weapon, Lostvayne grants him the ability to clone himself which also causes his magic power to split up.
Upon reuniting, Fraudrin was shocked to find out that Meliodas' power level is actually 60,000. In the next chapter, it looks like the Kingdom of Leones will temporarily be peaceful as majority of the members of the Ten Commandments are incapacitated. Fans are also intrigued with what was shown in the last page of the previous chapter.
Fans over at Manga Sail believe Meliodas now have full grasp of his demon powers and will gladly use it against his former comrades. It is worth noting that he has now a renewed perspective towards his former team. Perhaps, he realized that they are hell-bent on killing him while he was holding back all the time. Also, fans suggest that the battle between the commandments is nearing its end and it will be Estarossa and Zeldris against Meliodas.
