Kim Yoo Jung may be considered a rookie actress due to her young age but the South Korean star has shown her acting abilities in various projects. Park Bo Gum's co-star was even praised by the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" director for her performance in the said KBS drama.

"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" may be nearing the end of its 16-episode run, but drama's romantic storyline and suspenseful plot continue to capture the interest of avid viewers. The myriad of emotions that Park and Kim both displayed in the historical series was even applauded by fans and critics. Director Kim Sung Yoon also echoed the same sentiments during an interview with Yonhap News.

The filmmaker complimented the 18-year-old actress for the depth of emotion that she portrayed in several scenes of the KBS series. One of Kim's emotional performances that impressed the director was a prison scene where her character Ra On gazed deeply into the crown prince's eyes while locked inside the cell.

The emotions that were depicted in Kim's eyes at that moment properly conveyed her character's feelings. The filmmaker stated that he felt pleased with how the actress and Park handled the said scene.

However, the KBS historical series' director initially had apprehensions over Kim's acting abilities. Her young age also posed a problem to the production team given some of the drama's original scenes.

The drama, an adaptation of the web novel of the same name, contained erotic scenes between the Ra On and the crown prince. The said scenes were removed given Kim's young age and former child actress image.

Despite the absence of the said love scenes, the director was still pleased with how Park and Kim acted out the romance between their characters. Many viewers even gushed over the explosive chemistry between the two Korean stars given their meaningful stares and cute actions towards each other.

In other news, Park is the latest celebrity to join the list of musicians who recorded a song for the KBS drama's soundtrack. The "Reply 1988" actor's agency Blossom Entertainment told local reporters that Park recorded a ballad track on Oct. 5, Wednesday, according to Sport Chosun.

The title of the said song including the expected release date has yet to be unveiled. However, viewers can expect to hear the said track during the drama's upcoming final four episodes.
