It was just last May when the hit comedy-drama television series, "Jane the Virgin," concluded its second installment. With "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 scheduled to air in a couple of days, recent reports claim that Rogelio (Jaime Camil) might not let Xo (Andrea Navedo) enter the big stage in the music industry.
According to TV Guide, the mother of the lead protagonist of the series, Xo, is going to audition in "The Voice." It can be recalled that during the last two seasons, Xo was shown to be really frustrated in getting a big break in the music business.
With the information that she might land a career in the industry with her possible stint in the popular singing contest, will Rogelio let her undergo the stress of a well-known music artist? This has been the question plaguing the internet as it was already revealed in the previous installment that Xo is pregnant.
It was shown in "Jane the Virgin" Season 2 that Xo's pregnancy is not Rogelio's but was caused by her affair with Esteban (Keller Wortham). This serves as a dilemma to her as the previous season showed how Rogelio wanted another child with Xo. However, she declined, leading to their unprecedented break-up.
When Xo finally wants to be back with the father of Jane (Gina Rodriguez), the pregnancy happened. Sources say that "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will reveal how Xo handles her pregnancy. The report did also cite that although she already said that she does not intend to keep the baby, Rogelio might do the contrary and support her pregnancy.
On the other note, it can be remembered that the finale episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2 also showed Michael (Brett Dier) fighting for his life after getting shot by Susanna (Megan Ketch) when he uncovered her secret that she is Sin Rostro. AOL claims that Jane will be having a difficult time in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, knowing that her husband is battling for his life.
"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 is said to air this coming Oct. 17.
