HBO's "Westworld" episode 3 debuts on Oct. 16. The upcoming segment is titled "The Stray" and it focuses on the search for a missing host. Meanwhile, Bernard tries to determine the cause of erratic behaviour of the hosts. Here are the detailed spoilers for the next chapter of the series. Read on to find out what happens next.

Things continue to get intense in the Westworld amusement park. According to Spoiler TV's description of episode 3 "The Stray," one host goes missing. Elsie, an employee of programming division, and Stubbs, the head of security, searches for the missing host in the hills.

In the meantime, Teddy will get a new backstory and new programmed personality. This provides him a new mission as he heads out in a search of a new villain. As he heads out on a new mission, he leaves Dolores behind in Sweetwater.

Elsewhere, Bernard, Westworld's lead programmer, investigates the strange behaviour, including madness and hallucinations, within the hosts. He works to determine the cause behind it. At the same time, William finds a new interest and persuades Logan to accompany him.

A promo video for "Westworld" episode 3 is yet to be released. It is expected to be out after the television broadcast of episode 2 airing on Oct. 9. Stay tuned, it will be updated here.

"Westworld" premiered last week. The show starring Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Luke Hemsworth, Ed Harris and others is based on 1973 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Westworld's" premiere episode delivered record ratings with 3.3 million viewers on television and HBO's online services. This makes it the first most watched HBO drama series premiere in three years since the debut of "True Detective."

"Westworld" airs Sundays on HBO at 10:00 pm. More spoilers and updates are expected soon.
