Based on the Chinese novel "Bu Bu Jing Xin" by Tong Hua, the show depicts the love story set in the time of Goryeo Dynasty in Korea. It revolves around the romance between the fourth prince Wang So and Court Lady Hae Soo. At the same time, the prince has several rivals to tackle on his path to the throne of Goryeo dynasty.

Recently, "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" aired episode 15 wherein Hae Soo finally reveals her feelings for Wang So. After years of trying, Hae Soo finally opens up to Wang So about her feelings and the two share a real kiss. Meanwhile, Wang So had to marry the young niece of the dying king of Goryeo dynasty.

According to iTechpost, in the Chinese version of the drama "Scarlet Heart" of 2013, the show ended with Hae Soo's counterpart Ruo Xi death. However, after the death eighth and fourteenth prince, the Fourth Prince became the emperor.

The website suggests that the young girl who Wang So married may turn out to be the Queen to the throne. As for Wang So and Hae Soo, they may not end up together in the past life but they are expected to meet in the future.

Fans will remember "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" opened with Hae Soo as a troubled modern day girl, Ko Ha-jin, 25, who was transported to the past during a total eclipse of the sun. Something similar happens in the Chinese version of the series and it reportedly ends with Ruo Xi die in the past and waking up in the hospital in future. On a visit to a museum, she sees a photo of a girl like her and it is here where she meets a man who looks just like the Fourth Prince.

At the same time, The Bit Bag is reporting that the Chinese Novel ends with Wang So becoming the third king and gets married to Hae Soo, who becomes the queen to the throne and mother of his children.

Fans must note that these are mere speculations. How Hae Soo and Wang So's story comes to an end will be revealed in the finale.

"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" finale airs Oct. 31 at 10:00 pm KST on SBS. Stay tuned for more spoilers and updates.
