Current league leaders Atletico Madrid (4-0-3, 15 points) will look to remain undefeated in the 2016-2017 La Liga season as they face cellar-dwelling squad Granada CF (0-5-2, 2 points) at the Vicente Calderón Stadium on Oct. 15, Saturday.

Atletico Madrid had taken league leadership from cross-city rivals Real Madrid after going on a two-game winning run while Los Blancos were held to three straight drawn matches.
Los Colchoneros blanked bottom three team Valencia, 2-0, on Oct. 2 at the Mestalla Stadium right before the league's international break, as per Goal.
Head coach Diego Simeone got a goal each from his two French starting forwards, Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro, who netted in the 63rd minute and in injury time respectively.
The match was actually close from the kickoff as Los Che held their own on defense amidst persistent attacks and counterattacks from Atleti.

Meanwhile, Granada succumbed to its third consecutive loss as the team was edged by newly-promoted side Leganes, 0-1, at the Los Carmenes Stadium on Oct. 1, ESPN reported.
Argentine midfielder Alexander Szymanowski scored the lone goal of the contest in the 76th minute to give head coach Lucas Alcaraz's men their fifth defeat this term.
Granada is one of only two clubs that are still winless so far this season, with the other one being Osasuna.
