NBA rumors regarding Derrick Rose of New York Knicks seemed to be unstoppable. The current rape case being faced by the recently acquired Knicks guard could possibly lead to his transfer to Oklahoma City Thunder as some NBA trade rumors would suggest.

It can be remembered that the transfer of Rose to Madison Square Garden was not wholeheartedly welcome by most Knicks fans. There have been many issues and doubts being cast upon the former MVP, including his alleged performance decline. His injury prone game and athleticism were some of the few concerns mentioned by fans in various social media platforms and comments section.

And with his latest involvement in a $21.5 million lawsuit, according to NYPost, for allegedly drugging and gang raping a "Jane Doe" together with some friends, doubts about the Rose has once again resurfaced. The decision of Knicks acquiring the veteran point guard from Chicago Bulls is now being questioned. Whether or not the management's decision was correct or the other way around.

If you were to ask some experts, there is no doubt that Rose may have an impact on the Knicks roster. However, performance wise, Rose may not be that kind of Derrick Rose during his prime while still in the Bulls. For one, Rose has not fully regained his MVP-caliber ever since riddled with injuries.

With all the attention now being given to Rose, including the current rape case, it is now being speculated online that the Knicks might trade Rose to OKC. According to Sportsrageous, the trade will likely include Kristaps Porizingis and Derrick Rose for Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook is undeniably one of the best point guards in the league right now. Though the tade deal may sound unreasonable, still some reports are pointing out for a major deal between two teams, which may potentially involve the said players.

A similar sentiment has also been reported by FoxSports, as they highlighted that the Knicks should "get rid" of their controversial point guard who is currently defending himself in a civil rape case. Apart from the trade deal scenario mentioned above, the report also highlighted Brandon Jennings as a much better point guard than rose, and hopefully preventing the Knicks from being same old Big Apple embarrassment.

Still, there is no certainty to these NBA rumors, guess we would just have to wait and see how things will unfold between Derrick and his new team.
