In February, the singer of "Like a Virgin" held a concert in Hong Kong, and was part of her "Rebel Heart Tour." Thousands of fans went but were frustrated with the concert getting delayed by two hours.

Madonna arrived at the stadium two hours late as the show was supposed to start at 8 p.m. Chen Lan, vice president of China Star Entertainment Group said that Madonna is quite disrespectful to the Chinese audience.

"I met her at a Hong Kong private airport. Her flight arrived minutes prior to mine; I didn't even bother to look at her. I heard that she's always late for concerts, it is so unprofessional."

She was also late for her concerts in the Philippines, Taipei and in Nashville.

During her concert in Taipei, she was slammed for wearing the Taiwanese flag at the opening of the concert. For much Chinese, that was a statement of Madonna's support for Taiwan's independence from the mainland.

Taiwan is still considered by mainland Chinese as a province and not a separate country.

One Chinese fan tweeted, "Did you run out of your cone-shaped bras and had nothing better to wear?! Stupid Western woman with no modesty."

She then posted a picture of herself in a blue star and posted it on Twitter. The blue star was a symbol used by the Kuomintang.

Amidst criticism, Madonna seemed to revel in the experience and posted: "Thank You TaiPei!! Your energy was electric and Amazing!#rebelhearttour"
