Lee Ji-eun, 23, who is professionally known as IU, took to Instagram to share a photo of her "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" character Hae Soo and 4th Prince Wang So (Lee Joon-gi). Many fans were very happy to see the photo, especially yhat the two characters fondly called SoSoo recently had a kissing scene in the SBS series.
In September, Lee talked about his “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” character. In particular, he shared his thoughts about the ritual scene in the rain, which many viewers talked about.
“I thought that it would be a pivotal scene in Wang So’s character change,” Lee told SBS, as cited by The K-Pop Herald. “I wanted to show how Hae Soo allowed him to break out of the cold exterior that he suppressed himself in and overcome the scar that had tormented him.”
Lee said he tried to act in a way that showed the emotional development of Wang So as the character addressed his people. More recently, wiewers were surprised by the kissing scene of Wang So ang Hae Soo in “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” episode 14, which aired on SBS on Oct. 10.
Two years has passed in the episode. Hae Soo was already the Court lady of Damiwon while King Hyejong (Kim San-ho), formerly Crown Prince Wang Mu, elected Prince Wang So to be his successor to the throne.
However, Wang So had to marry the king’s daughter. Wang So and Hae Soo had a misunderstanding when the latter learned about the marriage but they talked and told each other how they felt.
“I love you,” Wang So told Hae Soo. The latter responded with a kiss.
The SoSoo couple was the only ones that kissed in “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.” A kissing scene between 10th Prince Wang Eun (Byun Baek-hyun) and his wife Park Soon-duk (Z.Hera) also shared a kiss.
In an interview with OSEN, as cited by Soompi, Z.Hera said she was very relieved to see the positive responses from the fans of EXO. Byun is one of the nine members of the South Korean boy group formed by S.M. Entertainment.
