"Naruto Shippuden" fans were disappointed following the news that the fan favorite manga series is coming to an end. However, things took a different turn, when the show's creators decided to extend the series with "Naruto Shippuden" episode 480.
"Naruto Shippuden" episode 480, which is technically the episode 700 if the 220 episodes of the first Naruto series is included, will come as an epilogue in place of its usual episodes. Every episode has part A, which is about Naruto while the part B will be tackling about Naruto's wife, Hinata, Saiyan Island reported.
The epilogue will run character shorts to serve as flashback fillers. Previously, episode 480 is planned to continue the story about the fight between Naruto and Sasuke. After the changes, episode 480 will begin with a major time jump from episode 479.
"Naruto Shippuden" episode 480 will see Naruto as the host of the Kyuubi. He will be training alone in the forest until someone close to him, who could be Hinata or Sasuke, will be appearing.
The new episode of "Naruto Shippuden" will focus on Naruto and Hinata, where fans of the manga series may possibly see the wedding of the two. Other important events that may be seen in the episode are the love story of Sasuke and Sakura and the fate of Kakashi as a Hokage, which picks up 15 years following the 4th Shinobi world war, according to Mobi Picker.
Viewers expecting to see the battle of Naruto and Sasuke in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 480 will not be disappointed because it will still happen in the new episode. However, their battle is not an indication of the end of the anime.
A week after episode 480, Episode 481 will feature two parts, one about Sasuke and the other about Sakura. Episode 482 will be focusing on Gaara and Shikamaru and will air on Nov.3. The final episode, episode 483, which will be seen on Nov.10 will be about Jiraiya and Kakashi.
There are speculations that Naruto and Hinata's son Boruto will play a significant part in the continuation of "Naruto Shippuden" legacy. Boruto, who had its movie debut titled "Boruto" acquired a good number of followers from the movie so it is more likely that he may play as one of the protagonists given that the anime will be renewed.
