Ingolstadt remains to be one of only two teams without a win after seven rounds of German top flight competitions, with Hamburg being the other one. They are also struggling to put points on the board as they only pulled off one draw in the season at this time.

The team is coming off a 1-2 loss to second-running squad Cologne on the road at the RheinEnergieStadion last Saturday, as per ESPN.

Cologne netted the game's first two goals early in the first half, courtesy of a left-footer and a spot kick from French forward Anthony Modeste in the 28th and 39th minutes.

The Billy Goats managed to score a consolation goal right at the stroke of full-time after Austrian striker Lukas Hinterseer converted a penalty kick from a foul by Cologne captain Matthias Lehmann inside the box.

Head coach Markus Kauczinski's side is on a six-game losing streak after settling for a 1-1 draw with Hamburg in their season-opener in August.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund has been struggling as of late as the team had been winless in two straight games after going on a three-game winning run.

Their last match ended in a 1-1 draw with fellow contenders Hertha Berlin right at their own home field of Signal Iduna Park on Oct. 14, Daily Mail Online reported. The game also featured two red cards, one for each side, late in the match.

The first half ended in a goalless draw as both sides failed to capitalize on their attacks even with the defense not that stingy either.

Hertha midfielder Valentin Stocker finally broke the deadlock in the 51st minute with the assist coming from team captain Vedad Ibisevic.

The capital city squad looked headed to a win as time slowly runs out, but Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found the equalizer in the 80th to salvage the draw.
