Kim Kardashian is said to be a changed woman now, still in shock after the controversial Paris robbery on Oct. 3 that left her begging for her life. The reality star is reportedly still not sure whether she will ever return to her earlier life.
"She has zero desire to resume her old life," an insider told People. "Kim is still figuring out what she wants to do."
The source added that the star is still having a difficult time and remains confided in a Los Angeles hotel. She reportedly has no plans for any public appearance as of now and is staying away from social media.
The reality TV star, who was often spotted earlier on solo outings, now makes sure to be accompanied by bodyguards whenever she needs to go out, according to the insider. She appears nervous and refuses to be photographed as she has refrained from having any personal interactions with fans, the insider added.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star is currently spending time with her family. Her husband Kanye West is on his musical tour, but in between the shows he keeps shuttling back to Los Angeles to check on his wife. When he is away, she relocates to her mother Kris Jenner's home along with her two kids, North West, 3, and Saint West, 10 months.
The beauty has largely remained out of the public eye since the robbery. She emerged only briefly, all the while hidden under a hood, to travel from New York City to Los Angeles.
Despite the fact that she will be turning 36 on Oct. 21, Friday, Kardashian has low key plans for the big day. An extravagant party was earlier on the cards which is now being cancelled by Kanye amid fears for her security.
Kardashian is expected to celebrate her birthday but it is being claimed that the party has been significantly downscaled and will be a subdued affair. While her rapper husband moved to cancel plans for the lavish celebration, he has made sure that her big day is still memorable by buying her a pair of ruby drop earrings from designer Lorraine Schwartz, worth $ 50,000, Daily Mail reported.
