The Demand for Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats is so strong that FCA US has been forced to warn customers that a small number of its own dealerships may be taking orders of the muscle cars that the manufacturer cannot fill, according to MLive.

FCA US specifically said that these handful of dealers appears to have accepted large numbers of SRT Hellcat orders without verifying its availability and to make it worst, this was done without advising their customers that orders may not be filled, if at all, for a longer duration of time. They add that it violates the agreement between dealership and the carmaker and may even be a breach of contract/agreement which is against the law.

The former Chrysler Group LLC also said that they want to advice their customers directly how the supplying inventory of the Hellcats works.

The process starts with just eligible Dodge dealers will get the muscle car based on their total "Dodge" sales within 90 days that is with verified customer sold orders, and this process is on priority basis, those who have the highest sale will be on top of the list.

Also, Drive SRT reports that the Hellcat's raw power comes from a 6.2-liter, supercharged Hemi engine, Dodge's first supercharged Hemi engine that produces a monstrous 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is designed and engineered to go toe-to-toe with similar high-performance competitors like the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the outgoing Ford Mustang GT 500.

The price starts at $63,995 for the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. The coupe and sedan are available in automatic eight-speed transmission while the Challenger also has an optional six-speed, manual transmission.

The four-door Charger Hellcat was recorded to get a top speed of 204 miles per hour which is five times more than the Challenger Hellcat, due to its aerodynamics design.

The Charger Hellcat is roughly 100 pounds heavier than the Hellcat which takes pride in its 0-100 mph in less than 13 seconds, 11-second quarter-mile record with a maximum performance track driving of 160 millisecond shifts.
