"The Talk" host and "The Big Bang Theory" actress Sara Gilbert welcomed her first child with wife Linda Perry. Gilbert already has Levi, 10-year-old son, and Sawyer, 7-year-old daughter with her ex-partner Allison Adler.
Gilbert and Perry have been dating each other since the last four years and walked down the aisle last year. They proclaimed about the pregnancy to the world on the "The Talk" show in September 2014 and were inundated with wishes and congratulations immediately. Their new born son has been named as Rhodes Emilio and his first pictures as a cute little infant were shared on the TV show as well.
When Gilbert announced her pregnancy to her co-hosts Aisha Taylor, Chen, Sharon, Julie and Sheryl Underwood in 2014, they were stunned at the good news. After the initial shock wore off, all the co-hosts welcomed the news very warmly and proclaimed it as "The Talk" baby, as Gilbert is the creator of the popular show, as per reports by UPI.
Gilbert is well known for enacting the character of the very geeky Leslie Winkle on "The Big Bang Theory" and for portraying the character of Darlene Conner on the show "Roseanne." On the other hand, her wife Perry attained name and fame by being the lead singer of the band - 4 Non Blondes. The 49 years-old Perry has also been instrumental in writing the lyrics for many hit songs of Pink, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.
Perry proposed to Gilbert during a very romantic and intimate picnic, which had a music theme. According to Boston Herald, later they had a very small wedding with their close friends and family.
