Toulouse has been winless in two of their last three matches. Their current slide followed a three-game winning run which allowed the team to settle in the fourth spot of the current league table, only two points behind third-running team and defending champions Paris Saint-Germain and eight points adrift of league leaders OGC Nice.

TFC was held to a goalless tie by middling team Angers SCO on the road at the Stade Jean-Bouin last Saturday for their second drawn match of the season, as per ESPN.

It was the second winless performance for head coach Pascal Dupraz's side in the past three rounds after losing to Caen, 0-1, in round 8 before pulling off a 3-1 upset win over Monaco in round 9.

Meanwhile, erstwhile league leaders Lyon continued its descent in the standings after losing to surprise contenders En Avant de Guingamp, 1-3, also last Saturday at their own home field of Stade des Lumieres, the National reported.

Les Gones actually netted the opening goal of the contest with a successful penalty kick from French striker Alexandre Lacazette in the 37th, which gave the hosts a 1-0 lead at the halftime break.

However, Guingamp entered the second half energized to score three goals, completely erasing Lyon's first half lead. The lackluster defense of head coach André Villas-Boas' men in the second period also contributed to his team's loss.

Guingamp forward Yannis Salibur netted the equalizer just one minute after the restart before midfielder Marcus Coco scored a brace in the 52nd and 77th minute to hand the hosts their second straight defeat.

With the loss, Lyon dropped to the 10th spot of the league table with only two wins in their last six matches.
