HTC has not yet announced their new HTC 11 flagship smartphone but there have already been several leaks and rumors regarding its specs, price and release date.
Speculations claim that the HTC 11 is already in the works to battle the iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy S7 and even the new LG V20. However, the release date might still be months away considering that the HTC 10 has been just out for half a year.
Flagship smartphones are often high-end and HTC's new device is expected to compete even with the big names. They have steadily gained popularity due to their devices.
Rumored HTC 11 Specs
The HTC 11 flagship smartphone is expected to have a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, Headlines & Global News has learned. HTC could also use a dual edged screen display similar to the Galaxy Edge smartphones from Samsung.
As usual, the smartphone will also be expected to have boom speakers for louder output of music and sound. There are also rumors of it being resistant to water and dust which means users can bring it to the beach or to the shower without worrying if it will get damaged.
HTC 11 is also expected to have a dual setup with 12MP and 8MP for the rear while the front will have an 8MP wide-angle snapper, Gamenguide reported. It will also have a USB-C port instead of the usual microUSB for faster data speeds and charging.
Other specs of the smartphone may include DualBand technology and NFC. It ould be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor next year and 6GB of RAM for seamless multitasking. In terms of the rumored specs, the HTC 11 is close to being similar with the Samsung Galaxy S8 which is also expected to be released next year.
Rumored HTC 11 Release Date
HTC might release the new flagship smartphone in early 2017. There is no solid release date yet considering that they have not yet confirmed the existence of the smartphone
The HTC 11 might be revealed later this year at the earliest to generate hype. HTC will have to confirm the rumored specs and features by then.
