It interesting to that Square Enix would name dropped "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3" considering that Nomura stated he will reveal more details for both games after "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue" is release in January.

Square Enix chose to stay quiet for the rest of 2016 since "Final Fantasy XV" is still on the horizon. The publisher does not really like to publicize too many games at the same time. After the hype for "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" dies down, gamers will hear more news about "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7" remake soon.

In other news, several rumors are making rounds regarding "Final Fantasy 7" remake being ported to the PlayStation 4 Pro as Reddit username central_void claim that Square Enix had to "overhaul" the entire game to make it fit the parameters set by Sony in order to make it run smoothly in the PS4 Pro.

The Reddit user's post mentioned that the changes may delay "Final Fantasy 7" remake's 2016 release, and it might be pushed back to 2017.

There have been rumors that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be ported on the new Nintendo NX console, but game director Tetsuya Nomura stated in an interview that they have no plans whatsover in putting the game in the new console anytime soon.

Previous reports stated that Square Enix will be introducing a a very different battle system for "Final Fantasy 7" remake compared to the original game. Nomura and his team of game developers are currently in the middle of elevating various aspects up to finished quality, Siliconera reported.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake will have a more action-based gameplay rather than the Active Time Battle system incorporated in the original "FFVII" in the PlayStation console. Nomura explained that he has heard several request from gaming fans to add the ATB style in the remake, but Nomura believes he has found the perfect gameplay system. Of course, he added that gamers who are not used to the action-oriented gameplay will have a feature that will help them keep up with the remake's gameplay.

Nomura cited "Dissidia" is the perfect example for "Final Fantasy 7" remake and there are speculations that the game will be divided into three parts similar to "Final Fantasy XIII".

Square Enix producer Yohinori Kitase added that each part of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be a full-scale game as every installment may tell the story from a different perspective.

The Japanese publisher will be attending the PSX 2016 event on Dec. 3-4 inside the Anaheim Convention Center located in Anaheim, CA.
