Xiaomi Mi Note 2 that in the rumors since several months, is now officially unveiled by the company. Alongside it, the company also announced Xiaomi Mi Mix, a concept phone with bezeless design.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Specifications, Price
The official MIUI blog states that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a 5.7-inch ultra-thin flexible OLED display with dual curved edges that provides full HD resolution. It comes with two-sided dual curved design that is covered with 3D glass at front and back and is available in colors like, Piano Black and Glacier Silver.
It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset includes a 2.35 GHz quad-core processor. It is available in two variants of internal storage-64 GB with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB with 6 GB of RAM. Both the models don't have microSD card slot hence storage capacity can't be extended further.
The Mi Note 2 runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. It is equipped with 22.56-megapixel high resolution rear camera with dual LED flash, EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer) and 4K video stabilization support. It has 8-megapixel auto-focus front camera that captures the sharp selfies with wide angle support.
It also features a fingerprint scanner below the display that is integrated under the home button. It is equipped with non-removable 4,070 mAH battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The price of Mi Note 2 is tagged according to the variants that will be available in markets. The 64 GB native storage variant has a price tag of RMB 2,799 ($413). The other variant that has 128 GB native storage has a pricing of RMB 3,299 ($487). The 128 GB variant that has Global LTE connectivity will be available for RMB 3,499 ($516).
Xiaomi Mi Mix Specifications, Price
Apart from Mi Note 2, Xiaomi has also unveiled its two variant smart phones that have edgeless design named as Mi MIX and Mi MIX Pro that comes with 18-Karat gold rim around the camera and fingerprint sensor.
It has a 6.4-inch edgeless display that has ultra-high 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio the highest ratio compare to other smartphones till date.
Like Mi Note 2, it receives power from Snapdragon 821 chipset and it is available in two variants. Mi MIX variant has 128 GB native storage with 4 GB of RAM whereas Mi MIX Pro variant has 256 GB internal storage with 6 GB RAM.
It is equipped with 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It is power packed with 4,400 mAH battery with Quick Charge support. The Mi MIX is priced at RMB 3,499 ($516) and Mi MIX Pro is costs RMB 3,999 ($590).
