Going nude in the movies is quite common among male and female celebrities in the US. It is considered not a big deal for those who are more liberated such as “Twilight Saga” star Kristen Stewart, but former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger thinks otherwise.
Nicole, who besides her singing career has also appeared in several movies in cameo roles such as “Men in Black 2” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” just rejected a film role because it called for her to show skin. It was no longer a cameo role that the 38-year-old sexy singer was offered, but because it called for her to go nude, she said “no” to a film role that has a more substantial part, TV3 reported.
However, Nicole hinted she would consider accepting a movie role with nudity if it was for a respected filmmaker such as Martin Scorsese, Nicole told British host Jonathan Ross. Actor Stephen Merchant, who was also interviewed by Ross, admitted he had a theater role that called for him to strip, but he had the scene removed.
In the same interview, Nicole admitted she no longer speaks to former boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, but she wishes him well. The singer explained, “I think it is quite natural for people to separate and for them to go their own ways and you have to be adult about it. You just wish the other person happiness, success and love. And I do,” Mirror reported.
She dated Hamilton on and off for eight years, but they split in summer 2015. Nicole is currently dating tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.
