"My Wife is Having an Affair this Week" star Song Ji Hyo recently shared her thoughts on balancing her career as an actress and dating. The "Running Man" cast member even commented on dating Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin in the program "We Got Married."
Similar to other celebrities in the entertainment industry, the South Korean actress has kept details of her personal life and romantic relationships a secret. However, Song recently revealed her dating philosophy during a press event for the new JTBC drama "My Wife is Having an Affair this Week."
Recounting previous dating experiences, the "Running Man" star commented that it was very different as compared to normal relationships, Insight quoted the actress as saying. Given her status as a celebrity, it was difficult to enjoy dates and other ordinary activities, according to Song.
When asked about her experience as Bolin's partner on the Chinese version of the show "We Got Married," the actress mentioned that she enjoyed the experience. With the variety program's various romantic scenarios and activities, it gave Song the chance to go on dates like a normal person.
Despite Song's positive dating experience with Bolin in the said Chinese show, the actress has no intention to date actors in real life. Song explained that avoiding romantic relationships with male celebrities is part of her personal dating rule.
In other news, Song's new JTBC drama "My Wife is Having an Affair this Week" marked the first time that she starred alongside South Korean actor Lee Sun Kyun. The two celebrities play a married couple where the husband will learn of his wife's plans to have an affair.
In a recent press event, Song's co-star Lee complimented the actress for her professionalism and positive attitude. Described as a thoughtful actress, Song is not hesitant to show her "considerate" side to colleagues and co-workers on set, Korean news outlet Hankyung quoted the actor as saying.
