Singer Mariah Carey denied she is having sex or is in a relationship with her choreographer Bryan Tanaka. At the same time, sources close to her said she and former fiancé James Packer did not engage in premarital sex.
The 46-year-old Carey, because of her values and stand as a traditional girl, had separate rooms on the house and boat she used to stay in with Packer, 49, even if they lived together, TMZ reported. Citing the entertainment website’s sources, the ex-couple were more like lovesick 12-year-old who had some fun together but knew their boundaries. The limits to physical intimacy was the reason why Packer wanted to marry the singer.
The former husband of Carey, Nick Cannon, also confirmed that they did not have sex because of the singer’s “puritanical value” until they got married.
Her values is proof that Carey did not cheat on Packer with the 33-year-old Tanaka, Hollywood Life reported. However, because she had not spoken to the Australian casino king for months, the singer became closer with Tanaka who she has featured in some of her Instagram posts and in some of the sexiest parts of her concert.
Last week, a report by Women’s Day claimed that the reason behind the couple’s split is alleged excessive spending habits and new reality show which would expose their lives to the public. Carey and Packer were engaged in January after less than a year of dating. It was Packer who dumped the singer, but allowed her to keep the $10-million diamond engagement.
