New details and possible spoilers for "Avengers" Infinity War" will feature Doctor Strange's role in the film and Thano's defeating Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
With the announcement of Doctor Stephen Strange joining Earth's Mightiest heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War", Benedict Cumberbatch revealed several details regarding his role in the film. The "Sherlock" star told Yahoo! Movies that Stephen Strange will be responsible in reuniting the Avengers, particularly amending the broken trust between Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) after the events of "Civil War" film.
The Avengers were divided when the Sokovia accords were implemented as Tony Stark tries to make make the world a safer place, while Steve does his part in the shadows knowing that he is now a wanted fugitive by the government.
When asked about if Doctor Strange could join a side between Team Cap and Team Iron Man, Cumberbatch answered by saying that Stephen will join neither side of the conflict as the threat of Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the Infinity Stones is much larger than their animosity
"Doctor Strange" director Scott Derrickson explained what makes Doctor Strange unique is that he stands in a lonely position being the gatekeeper of his world and outside threats and understands the need to protect the world and see the bigger picture at what is at stake.
In other news, its seems that Marvel teased how powerful Thanos could be in "Avengers: Infinity War" as Thanos creator Jim Starlin explained during New York Comic Con that character is something yet to be seen in the movies, since he has limited appearances.
However, Vice President & Executive Editor of Marvel Digital Media Ryan Penagos added by stating that Thanos will definitely kick everyone's tail during there encounter with him, which Starlin agreed, CosmicBookNews reported.
It is speculated that the plot of "Avengers: Infinity War" will be the "Infinity Gauntlet" storyline were in Thanos will gather all of the Infinity Stones to destroy the universe in order to win Death's affection. It is hinted that Hela (Cate Blanchett) could be the personification of death in the MCU and the Avengerd and the Guardians of the Galaxy will unite to fight the Mad Titan.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to be release on May 4, 2018, while the fourth film is scheduled on May 3, 2019.
