The latest details for "Overwatch" will feature Sombra's possible back story and Blizzard working on a movie and TV series for the game soon.
It seems that the latest information on the Sombra ARG has been revealed as Blizzard posted a news style article on its official website condemning LumeriCo's president.
According to the article, Imaginary CEO Guillermo Portero allegedly laundered money, bribed public officials and created a “plan to seize privately held land via government expropriation to expand LumeriCo's facilities throughout Mexico. This were Sombra comes in as her group called the "Sombra collective" has been attacking LumeriCo's website and several groups such as the Los Muertos are joining her fight against the company.
The Vishkar corporation, which you might remember from Symmetra’s webcomic, has been talking with LumeriCo about exploring the exporting of LumeriCo's proprietary energy systems to Vishkar's developments worldwide.
Previous reports revealed that Blizzard Entertainment will likely announce Sombra in "Overwatch's" roster on Nov. 1 during the game's latest patch update. Sombra could appear during the Blizzcon event as her character image has already been leaked throughout the internet as a Latina woman, with a wild hairstyle, a purple trench coat and some sort of Uzi like submachine gun.
Sombra is said to be one of the world’s best and most notorious hackers, who lost everything during the Omnic Crisis. She has worked with the Los Muertos gang in Mexico, but had to go underground after gaining too much notoriety. She was then recruited by Talon.
In other news, rumors are making rounds regarding a possible movie or TV series adaptation of "Overwatch" as Blizzard Activision's Stacey Sher told Newsbeat of BBC that more video game TV series and movies are being considered, and with the success of "Skylanders:Academy" on Netflix it will not be long "Overwatch" will made into an animated series or movie soon.
Game director Jeff Kaplan announced the new patch 1.5 update for "Overwatch", which will have several changes in the reporting system of the game. Kaplan added that changes will take time, players will slowly recognize what was changed in the patch 1.5 and more update will be given in feature patches.
Several players have exchanged their opinions on what Blizzard can do to improve the game's reporting system. As it currently stands, when the system receives enough reports about a player, the player in question gets his or her account “silenced”, which means they cannot use the in-game voice chat. But with new patch 1.5 update gamers will have no problem near the near future.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
