2016's hottest girl group TWICE is set to have a contender next year from the same agency as JYP is rumored to debut another girl group in 2017.

TWICE is one of the biggest stars in JYP nowadays after selling hundreds of thousands of album.

JYP debuted TWICE - a nine-member girl group. The girls appeared in survival program, "Sixteen," before their debut alongside other female trainees in May. Originally, the group is supposed to be composed of seven members, but the company decided to add two more members. The group already has a lot of fans.

Twice released the single "Ooh Ahh" as part of their album "The Story Begins". They followed it up with "Cheer Up" in their Page Two album.

JYP is rumored to debut a new girl group in 2017, two years after TWICE's debut. The entertainment label is reportedly cooking another reality show in order to increase the hype for the new girl group.

Dubbed as 6Mix, the new JYP girl group will be composed of the eliminated contestants from Sixteen - Chaeyeon, Chaeryoung, Eunsuh, Natty, and Somi as well as new JYP trainees Lily M, Mashiro, Hanseol, and Yejin. However, the line up is not finalized yet.

In the past, JYPE became one of the top entertainment companies in South Korea as its artists, Rain and Wonder Girls, became international icons. The company also debuted successful artists like 2PM, 2AM and Miss A. Meanwhile, there is  no official confirmation from JYP when the new girl group will debut.
