"Running Man" members cried at the closing of Kang Gary's last day in the show. His last filming was on Oct. 31 and members cannot help but shed tears as Gary left the variety show.
"Running Man" members posted a photo to commemorate Gary's last day. It is evident in the photo that the members cried. "Fans were shocked upon the confirmation of Gary's departure from the SBS' variety show and it caused ruckus in the social media. Kang Gary has decided to leave the show to focus solely on his music.
This is not the first time that Kang Gary left the show. He attempted to resign from his post in the main cast following a scandal. However, he was proven innocent and was asked to come back. This time, his departure raised a lot of questions, especially what will happen to the Monday Couple now that its half is gone.
Kang Gary's departure sparked rumors that that the South Korean broadcast network SBS is bringing back Song Joong Ki in the aforementioned variety. Joong Ki was once part of the main cast, but has to leave for his mandatory military service. She is still close with the rest of the members and had several guest appearances.
He thanked his fans for their support on his decision to leave the show and for their support for the last six years.
