In the new episode, a new meta-human wrecks havoc in Central City and Barry asks Julian if he can help on the case.
"Caitlin visits her mother, a renowned biomedical researcher, to see if she can help with her growing meta-human powers. But her mom treats her like a test subject, which results in a major confrontation. Meanwhile, a mysterious new meta-human attacks Central City, and Barry tries to convince Julian to let him assist on the case," reads the synopsis for "The Flash" Season 3, episode 5.
Meanwhile, in other "The Flash" news, Candice Patton talked to IGN about Iris and Barry's relationship status in the show.
Patton stated that Barry Allen is the only superhero to have a "healthy, normal relationship."
She added that in "The Flash" Season 2, Barry and Iris will have a "very healthy, normal relationship."
"I think it's fair to say that if there's any superhero that could have a healthy, normal relationship, it's Barry Allen. One thing about Barry is his relationships and his family is really important to him. It's what makes him a superhero. Yes, I think we can expect to see a very healthy, normal relationship with Barry and Iris this season," Patton said.
She also mentioned that they knew that "Barry and Iris are destined to be together, it just had to come at the right time."
