In the coming months, buyers of sex dolls and sex robots would have more choices available to them. There is an Angelina Jolie-lookalike based on the Laura Croft character in “Tomb Raider,” made by RealDoll, and a talking sex robot with warm private parts.
The warm genitals would give the sex toy a more human feel, besides the use of full articulated metal skeleton to allow the doll to be posed in almost any position a real woman can, it would also use solid Thermoplastic Elastomer as skin to make the doll silky to human touch. Priced at $15,000, the first wave of the new sex robots, according to robotics expert David Levy, will look like the dolls that California-based RealDolls manufactures, Inverse reported.
Levy explained, “This coming wave of sex robots will be human-like in appearance and size … They will have human-like genitals. And they will allow intercourse according to their owner’s sexual orientation and tastes.” Its skin would be embedded with electronic sensors to allow the robots to respond to touch, plus the ability to talk back in a sexy voice.
The concept of sex robots are used in “Westworld,” a new Sky Atlantic TV drama that outraged cable TV watchers because of episode 5 which had a four-minute orgy where 40 actors had sex in various positions. In the futuristic series, the robots are abused for human pleasure, Daily Mail noted.
Abyss Creation, a California-based company, is developing the machines that would manufacture the sex robots with warm genitals. Levy had previously forecast that humans would not only fall in love with and have sex with robots. By 2050, people would marry robots, which combines the elements of adult-sized sex dolls selling in the U.S. for $5,000, and attributes of sex toys such as vibration technology.
Matt McMullen, founder and CEO of Abyss, said his vision for the future of sex robots is to make ones capable of emotional attachment.
