"Designated Survivor" Season 1, episode 6 not airing tonight

ABC has changed the schedule and is airing 50th CMA Awards live on ABC instead of "Designated Survivor" Season 1, episode 6.

The show is set to return with the new episode on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016.

Meanwhile, Yahoo TV has shared a clip from episode 6 of "Designated Survivor" Season 1. The video shows the governors bombarding questions on President Kirkman and they want answers from him. Meanwhile, one of the governor states that he doesn't what the new President stands for. But, another governor stands in defense of the President and calls him a fine man.

Elsewhere, Keifer Sutherland (President Kirkman) talked about the show during an interview.

"I think the show reveals a very intelligent conversation about the economy, about race relations across the country, about uncertainties abroad-and all those different things," Sutherland said about the show via Inquistr.

"The characters again are so well developed that the show will be able to represent an intelligent view from the Right and intelligent view from the Left. I always believe that the country works at its best when both political parties are really strong. I think there are arguments to be made that that might not be the case right now. I'd like to be a part of the show that's gonna show the country in many ways what it can be."

"Designated Survivor" Season 1, episode 6 synopsis

"Shots are fired at the White House during a Governors Summit; President Kirkman must regroup after his plans for electing a new Congress are thrown into turmoil; Agent Wells makes a shocking discovery while investigating the Capitol bombing," reads the synopsis.
